All photographers have their own unique style. It's important before you choose your photographer that you evaluate the variety of styles available to you and find that photographer that embodies the style you find the most inspiring and touching. My style is simple: natural and candid.

Smiles are great, but often those photographs that draw you in the most are something much more than a big toothy smile. The only smiles you'll see in my style of portraiture are real smiles - often laughs, even.

My style involves capturing the moments that inspire you in your every day life. Most of those moments can not be faked. I don't overwhelm children with a lot of false props, fake backgrounds, and poses - and I prefer parents not try to direct their children too much or try and invoke staged smiles. So, don't be surprised when much of your portrait session involves letting your child play and be himself while I photograph him doing what he naturally does.
